    •    Turned around a financially failing hospital by launching a direct marketing campaign resulting in increasing community physicians’ affiliation 100% raising monthly admissions by 33%.  The hospital is now profitable.
    •    Adopted a new enrollment process for an independent physician association resulting in membership increase of 300%, and annual revenues of $3M.
    •    Increased a NY health plan’s Medicaid products by creating a culturally sensitive direct marketing campaign resulting in reaching 10,000 new members and goal attainment in half the time.
    •    Wrote and negotiated a Medicare risk contract for an independent physician association reaching more than 4000 lives, and resource utilization average of 60%.
    •    Balanced a hospital’s crucial budget by creating a network of referring physicians, implementing a fast-track admission structure and patient transportation system resulting in the balancing of the admission/discharge ratio.
    •    Conducted a feasibility study assessing the need for dental services among dual Medicare/Medicaid patients resulting in a capitation based contract between a NY association of independent Dentists, and a local HMO that generates more than $50K in administration fees, and approximately $1M annually.
    •    Appealed and awarded the continuation of a five-year federal $4.5M grant for science education program by writing and implementing a formal business plan.  Exceeded expectations by approximately 200%.
    •    Improved science scores 25% by writing curriculum and implementing programs district-wide.
    •    Charged with managing a newly donated $4M computer lab resulting in creating a technology-based Science program that is operational today.
    •    Secured a $1.3M grant for health education that resulted in a significant reduction of the incidence of preventable diseases, and an increase of the availability of local nutritional resources.
